It was an ordinary day when founder Kwadwo Boateng went to the grocery store and happened to pass by a group of young adults performing in the street. A Djembe drummer himself, Boateng saw something in this 11-piece band and decided to help the talented group find places to perform, where their amazing talent would be appreciated.
A few months later Boateng stumbled upon another duo then called Toes (Thabiso Thabethe and Prodiiiiiii). The duo had undeniable electric stage presence and a hunger to work on their craft that Boateng decided to help them find platforms to perform as well.
Although Boateng now considers himself a retired drummer, his genuine love for good music and passion for helping others has established what seven years later, is now called Afridrum Productions.
