Michael “Kojolion” Dodoo

Kojolion is blessed with a passion for percussions and has an invested interest in drumming techniques from different African countries. He is well versed in the art of musical storytelling and uses expressive and harmonic beats to create a kaleidoscopic picture of sound.

Kojolion has respectfully worked with great artists such as Somizi Mhlonho, Jonas Gwangwa, Mbongeni Ngema and memorably, the late Lebo Mathosa. In December 2018 he performed at the Globel Citizen’s concert in Johannesburg as part of Beyonce Knowles’ act.

He has also travelled internationally performing in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Japan and China.
